Precious is based on the novel “Push” by Sapphire which opens in theaters November 6th.
The trailer is a vivid depiction of a young lady’s determination to be heard!
I think at some point of our lives we have dealt with emotional & physical abuse. We have felt broken, uneven, ragged or have been demeaned, taunted, teased, ridiculed, silenced or outright humiliated.
But, somehow we’ve dusted ourselves off, turned lemons into lemonade, and persevered.
So when you come to the realization that you are awesome, terrific, extraordinary, beautiful, handsome, debonair, highly esteemed individual that is worthy to be loved, you can’t help but hold your head up high and say to the world you are PRECIOUS!
Lee Daniels’s movie Precious is produced by Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry. It is bound to receive the notoriety and accolades it so deserves.
