PHILVOLCS Director Warns of Upcoming Strong Earthquake in The Philippines

After strong earthquakes hit Japan and New Zealand, PHILVOLCS Director Renato Solidum Jr. said the Philippines is next.

Topless UK teacher: Art teacher Joanne Salley topless pics spread like wildfire at prestigious Harrow school

Looks like these pupils got the hots for teacher! I know that kids today have a short attention spam. Is this the way to fix that?

The Daily Mail reports that these sensational pictures have rocked one of Britain’s most hallowed institutions – Harrow School.

Topless photographs of an art tutor at the £30,000-a-year private school have been circulating its classrooms, dorms and corridors.

Joanne Salley, 32, a former model and TV presenter, posed provocatively in just a tight pair of jeans. In one shot she is draped over a bookcase crammed with tomes on art history.

Her tousled brunette hair reaches down to the small of her tanned back. In another moody image, she stares straight at the camera.

The pictures were captured by a fellow teacher at the school, professional photographer Fiona Corthine, as first reported by the Daily Mail’s Richard Kay. They are believed to have been taken on school grounds – in its art rooms.

The pictures were discovered by a pupil in the school’s photography laboratory – where they had been left on a memory stick. To the horror of Miss Salley –a former Miss Northern Ireland who used to go out with England rugby star Matt Dawson – the pictures circulated like wildfire on pupils’ mobiles.

They have been seen by the majority of the school’s 825 male pupils, its teachers and even its kitchen staff. Pupils who forwarded these pictures to the Mail did so after censoring them with modesty boxes.

NATO (aka United States) Warns Rebels Against Attacking Civilians or face bombing! WTF?

We might as well call this the Keystone Kops of kinetic engagement. Do you think it would’ve been much wiser to really investigate exactly who the heck these so-called rebels are? Maybe their mercenaries who used to kill Americans?

Does this mean the U.S. …er…Nato is on both sides of this civil war?

New York Times reports that members of the NATO alliance have sternly warned the rebels in Libya not to attack civilians as they push against the government of Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, according to senior military and government officials.

As NATO takes over control of airstrikes in Libya, and the Obama administration considers new steps to tip the balance of power there, the coalition has told the rebels that if they endanger civilians, they will not be shielded from possible bombardment by NATO planes and missiles, just as the government’s forces have been punished.

“We’ve been conveying a message to the rebels that we will be compelled to defend civilians, whether pro-Qaddafi or pro-opposition,” said a senior Obama administration official. “We are working very hard behind the scenes with the rebels so we don’t confront a situation where we face a decision to strike the rebels to defend civilians.”

I like how the Times reports the story so seriously without a hint of alluding to the total ridiculousness of it all. There’s another word this, its “quagmire”. Maybe the Times has forgotten that they use to use the Q-word quite often during Viet Nam and under the George W. Bush administration.

How does Hate Crime laws jib with equal protection under the law?

In New York City a 12 year old hoodlum boy and a female accomplice allegedly beat up on a 13 year old Muslim girl.

News reports say that the boy asked the Muslim girl, who was wearing a hijab, a head scarf Muslim females wear to honor Islam, if she was a Muslim. Afterwards the beating began with punches until the Muslim girl collapsed to the ground.

It was a viscous act of violence and the boy, who is in police custody, should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. However, the boy faces additional charges under Hate crime legislation, and this is where the justice system is running off the rails.

Why is this boy being charged with a hate crime and how did we get here as a society?

Who cares what the boy was thinking at the time he beat up the girl? The cuts and bruises on her face is enough evidence for me that he beat her up and should be dealt with on that basis alone.

However, Liberals, who invented the concept of Hate Crimes as a political tool to convert political correctness into votes, crossed the line into persecuting people for how they think-thought crimes. Further, the concept of equal protection under the law gets thrown on its head in favor of special protection for certain groups.

Have you ever heard of a white person being a victim of a Hate crime?

Under the law white people are not a special group. So where is the equal protection for them?

George Orwell’s 1984 has arrived and we’ll all suffer for it in one way or another if we don’t repeal hate crimes legislation.

If Liberals can push for the repeal of Rockefeller drug laws in New York, I as a conservative am calling for the repeal of hate crimes legislation. These mind-probing laws won’t be missed. People who commit murder, assault, battery, or rape can still be prosecuted for committing murder, assault, battery, and rape. That’s the way it ought to be, equal justice for bad acts instead of bad thoughts.

Calvin Klein giant billboard spells curse word that rhymes with duck

Okay, I pretty much blew the subliminal message. If you still can’t figure it out, I don’t know what to tell you.

The Blaze asks is Calvin Klein sending a secret, vulgar message in its latest ad popping up in New York City? If you look close enough, you might say, “yes.”
This is the ad, erected in Lower Manhattan, that’s causing quite the stir, and not just for the half-naked model seemingly busting out of her undergarments:

CK is really pushing the boundaries of good taste. But, who said he ever had any in the first place.

Video: Annoyed Tennis Player David Ferrer Launches Ball at Crying Baby during match

I thought tennis was supposed to be the gentile sport?

The Blaze reports a baby was bawling, and Sony Ericsson Open quarterfinalist David Ferrer wasn’t too happy, either.
Trailing in his match and annoyed by the crying, Ferrer directed a forehand lob toward the infant after losing his serve midway through the second set Wednesday.

I guess you find the biggest jerks on the tennis court as well. If I was the kid’s father and the ball hit the baby, there would be one less tennis player in the world.

It’s time for Boehner and the GOPers to show Scott Walker courage, stop fearing govt shutdown!

The time for acting like men is now!

John Boehner needs to grow a pair, get an injection of Scott Walker courage flown in from Wisconsin if necessary. Acting timidly, afraid of imaginary shadows will not get it done for the taxpayers of the United States. If the govt has to be shut down in order to get those real cuts the people expect, so be it.

I don’t wanna see tears, Johnny! Show that you have a backbone instead and millions will support you who love this country!

Jason Ivler Getting VIP Treatment in Quezon City Jail?

Is murder suspect Jason Ivler enjoying the company of women and having drinking sessions inside the Quezon City jail?

This question was raised after photos and video clips circulated online showing Ivler partying, with liquor and unidentified women present inside the jail.

Some of the photos show Ivler, who is accused of killing Renato Victor Ebarle Jr. in 2009, with his family.

However, other photos and video clips show him having a drinking session with people, including women.

The Ebarle family’s lawyer, Atty. Amelita Garayblas, said the incidents violate jail regulations.

"We were very much suprised because an inmate... can enjoy such perks in his cell," she said.

Prosecutors believe that the photos and video footage show that Ivler is receiving special treatment inside the jail.

They are now asking the court to order the transfer of Ivler to the Bicutan detention center at Camp Bagong Diwa.

Marlene Aguilar-Pollard, Ivler's mother, on the other hand, defended his son.

Marlene described the jail as a “party place” and claimed that the practice regularly happens in other detention centers in the country.

"Kultura na po ng jail iyan sa Pilipinas [It's jail culture in the Philippines]," she said.

She said gang members inside jail invite his son to join them in parties.

Hari ng selda ang anak ko! Mga Sputnik, Bahala Na Gang, laging inaaya ang anak ko. Sikat na sikat siya doon. Pina-tattoo pa nila mukha ng anak ko sa katawan nila,” she claimed.

She also described his son as "Jason Ivler ng Bayan."

Aguilar-Pollard added that “busloads of women” regularly visit his son.

"Kung ano man ang binebentang treatment doon, kahit sex pa iyon, I'll pay for it," she added.

Quezon City jail authorities have yet to comment on the issue.

Trump: Does Birth Certificate Say Obama Is a Muslim?

The Donald just won’t go away to the consternation of the Obama regime.. However, Trump poses a legitimate question. Why won’t the president just produce the long form birth certificate? I think Trump is on the money when he suspects there’s something on there the president doesn’t want made public and is willing to pay millions in keeping secret.

The issue is not his status anymore.

What is it that’s worth so much money to keep hidden?

Also, Obama has kept his college transcripts sealed too. My suspicion is that he was an average B- student throughout college, maybe worse. That reality wouldn’t jib with the manufactured image of brilliance.

The Blaze reports this is what he really thinks…This is Donald being Donald…I don‘t think it’s as premeditated as some people think it is,” says Roger Stone of Donald Trump’s birtherism. Trump is a possible GOP presidential candidate for 2012. And he wants to know where President Obama’s birth certificate is.

Stone, who appeared with Insider Extreme’s SE Cupp, is the colorful political strategist behind “Stone’s Rules.” He was once described by The Weekly Standard’s Matt Labash as a “political operative, Nixon-era dirty trickster, professional lord of mischief.” And here he is below, speaking about Trump:

Analisa Hegyesi, Ferdinand Marcos' Australian Daughter Axed From Reality Show 'The Renovators' After Revealing Her Father's Identity

Late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos' Australian daughter Analisa Hegyesi is claiming that she was removed from the Australian home makeover reality show The Renovators after she told the producers her father's identity last week.

The 40-year-old interior designer told The Daily Telegraph UK that she made it to the final cut after months of auditioning only to be removed after revealing her father was Marcos. "The thing is that I've had to juggle my business and clients to make time for the show after I was asked to audition and then chosen from hundreds of people around Australia."

She added, "I was chosen on my own merits but then I was dropped due to aspects of my private life which I will not discuss... I was told there was a fear, too, attention would be paid to me and not the show and other contestants."

The Daily Telegraph UK cited an insider at the production company Shine Australia (producer of Junior Masterchef Australia) who said the staff thought it was harsh and unfair to axe Hegyesi for the "the sins of her father." Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Channel 10, which will air The Renovators, said Hegyesi's removal was routine and that they have not finalized the cast.

Hegyesi was born to former Sydney swimwear and Playboy model Evelin Hegyesi, who was involved with Marcos in the 1970s, when the late strongman already had three children with wife Imelda. The model was 19 when she met Marcos.

In 2004, Hegyesi and her mother were accused of having ties to Marcos' secret bank accounts in Switzerland and Liechtenstein that supposedly contained ill-gotten wealth.

Rihanna Happy Chris Brown’s Restraining Order Has Expired By Kenrya Rankin The singer eased restriction to make Brown’s life easier.

Rihanna revealed her feelings about Chris Brown’s relaxed probation order in her Rolling Stone cover story. She says she agreed to let the judge ease the order because she didn’t want their personal issues to continue to affect his career.

"It doesn’t mean we’re gonna make up, or even talk again. It just means I didn’t want to object to the judge,” Rihanna said. “We don’t have to talk ever again in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing—it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows—that definitely made it difficult for him.”

Last month, the judge removed the provision of Brown’s probation that requires him to stay 50 yards away from the pop singer (10 yards during industry events). The revised order will be in affect until August 2014.

‘Face to Face’ Marks 1st Year, Plans To Do More Public Service

Apart from reiterating that the aim of her show is not to scandalize viewers but to serve as platform for guests to vent their feelings, “Face to Face” host Amy Perez reveals that more work awaits off cam.

The guests undergo counseling right after the show then we follow-up on their progress a few weeks later. It’s not as if we just want them to exchange heated words and try to assault each other publicly for our ratings,” she said during the press conference for the show’s first year anniversary.

Amy, as with the Trio Tagapayo - lawyers Persida Acosta and Ben Persida, priests Sonny Merida and Gerry Tapiador, and psychiatrist Camille Caces-Garcia - pointed out that when guests relieve their experiences, others learn from the mistakes. This, they say, is evidenced in the messages the show’s Facebook account gets daily.

The guests are not given talent fees. Rather, they get an honorarium to cover their food and travel expense for the day.

So, to people who say that the show is scripted… I don’t think anyone would be willing to memorize lines and act combative on air for such a trifle,” said Amy.

Infidelity is the most common problem their guests have and Amy admits getting bothered when people question her credibility as relationship adviser given that her marriage to South Border ex-front man Brix Ferraris, bombed.

People don’t know that every time the topic turns to bigamy, adultery… parang ako, gusto kong lumubog sa lupa because I am in that situation."

For five days starting April 4, “Face to Face” will have special episodes that feature the next talk-of-the-town stories, major confrontations, tear-jerking revelations, infidelity caught on-cam, and a grand wedding spectacle.

The last, Amy said, everyone on the show wanted to do because they feel that is what the show is about, anyway: Happy ending for everyone, as much as possible.

Let’s not forget that after the catfights, the threatening words, the hurt and the tears, many, in fact, patch up their differences. We offer solutions most of the times---and that’s really the beauty of the show,” Amy said.

The anniversary week also highlights “Abot-Kamay, Kapatid,” a gift-giving segment for the benefit of past case subjects. Amy said that in the coming year, they want to further the public service thrust of the show by trying to find sponsors who will give some of the guests the chance to learn how to make a living, thus, truly start their lives all over again.

We are for empowering people,” Amy quipped.

According to the release, data from Nielsen Media Research from March 1 to 23 indicate that “Face to Face” is still the most watched program in Mega Manila on its timeslot (10:30-11:30 a.m.), with 30% audience share versus GMA’s 28% and ABS-CBN’s 25%.

The success of the show has spun-off to a TV series titled “Untold Stories Mula sa Face to Face,” which reenact more of the details behind the most remarkable stories tackled on “Face to Face.”

$100 Million Lawsuit Against Oprah Dismissed By Michael Arceneaux A judge has ruled against an author who claims that Oprah used material from his b

An author hoping to score $100 million from Oprah Winfrey has had his request rebuffed by a federal judge in Pennsylvania.

Charles Harris sued the talk show host and cable network owner in 2008. In his complaint, Harris says he sent 10 copies of his book, How America Elects Her Presidents, toThe Oprah Winfrey Show after Oprah lent her support to Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. Harris says despite following up with several inquires he never got a response.

However, on the February 16, 2009 addition of Oprah’s talk show, she allegedly read aloud exact questions included in his book.

The episode – entitled "Oprah's Search For The Smartest and Most Talented Kids" – featured Oprah and one of her guests discussing a number of questions, including which president was the fattest.

Six-year-old graham correctly answered “William Taft” and Harris subsequently filed suit for copyright infringement.

In response, the Hollywood Reporter says lawyers for Oprah argued that had Harris read the public transcript of the show, he would have realized that none of his questions were read aloud with the “arguable exception of one” concerning the heaviest president in history.

U.S. District Court Judge Jan DuBois ruled that even if Oprah did learn the tidbit about Taft from Harris’ book, it is not an infringement.

Remembering where I was when Reagan got shot 30 years ago today

I was in the Student Union building in Queens College visiting my girlfriend Jackie. I was still a senior in high school and she was about to finisher her first year at college.

We were about to eat a Diplomat Hamburger when I heard the news come over the college radio station that gun shots were fired and Reagan was rushed to the hospital.

My heart sank and instantly lost my appetite!

The weird thing about it was that I looked around the cafeteria and mo one else seemed to notice the news, but me. There were no shrieks or crying. It was as if nothing happened, like any other day with people going about their business.

But, I was in a state of shock with a lump in my throat. Jackie knew how I felt about Reagan and I said to her I gotta go home and watch the news.

I didn’t know if he was alive or dead.

I just prayed.

I just had to get home which meant taking two buses and on the trip nobody else seemed to know that our president had been shot. It was like a Twilight Zone episode where I was the guy who knew something very important and nobody else cared.

That’s what I remember the day Reagan got shot.
