Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model: 11 Become 9

Last week's episode was so uninspiring; we simply were not moved to write anything! So far, we aren't very impressed with series, sorry cycle, 7 and hope the show gets better soon or we'll be forced to give up entirely.

Jade in episode 7

In its favour, last week had the striking Alek Wek set the girls a challenge and the photo shoot did at least show the potential Jade has.

This week the producers seem set on making Anastasija and Juste the villains and most of the other girls didn't really get a look in. The few glimpses we have seen of Jade show that she does have quite a witty sense of humour which we'll hopefully get to see more of.

As wannabe ballerinas, we were quite taken with this week’s photo shoot and the resulting pictures. The stylist for the shoot didn't seem to dress the girls according to their body types; why put ruler shaped Juste in a plain, long outfit or put top heavy Jade in a corset that was at least two sizes too small?

Oh dear Jade

For all of Jade's prancing about (and resulting nipple slips) we were shocked when they finally showed her best shot. Was that really the best they could find? Doubtful. But then we remind ourselves it's a reality show first, modelling competition second so why let something like the truth get in the way?

Guest judge Henry Holland rightfully said that Jessica does not look like a top model but was quickly talked over by Grace. He should be listened to - as pretty as Jessica is, could she really compete with thin-as-a-pin working models once the show has ended?

Next week is a double elimination and rightfully so; there's not much life left in this cycle of BINTM.
