A Brown Girl on 90210!

First Gossip Girl did it with Tika Sumpter, now 90210 have added a little diversity to their roster in the form of  25 year old Megalyn Echikunwoke. Megalyn will be in season four of the series as Holly, a rival to we-love-to-hate-you Naomi.

We first remember Megalyn as playing the irritating Nicole Palmer (daughter of then President David Palmer) in the brilliant first series of 24. Since then she has been in CSI Miami, That 70s Show and Law & Order: SVU.

According to IMDB, Megalyn is half Nigerian and half American. Her surname means ‘leader of men’ and she is the granddaughter of a Nigerian tribal leader of the Igbo, which makes her African royalty.
