Looking resplendent in a tangerine Lanvin gown and assuming she is safely past 12 weeks, she told the assembled press while clutching her little bump: ‘I have a surprise!’

She later performed ‘Love on Top’ in a sequined Dolce & Gabbana outfit and ripped open the jacket to reveal the probably specially adapted band draped across her stomach.

The camera then panned over to Jay who had a broad smile on his face (not something we see very often) and Kanye West jumping up and down and patting him on the back like a proud uncle-to-be.

Some of the fashion on the night was plain out ridiculous! Nicki Minaj was (we think) trying to channel Lady Gaga but at least there is method to Gaga’s madness; what the heck was Nicki’s outfit supposed to be – was she sponsored by a toy shop for the evening? We felt embarrassed for her.

Some of our highlights were:
Kelly Rowland in Falguni & Shane. It's very on trend but we're not sure about having extra fringing/hair in that area.
Zoe Saldana in Barbari Bui. You can always count on her to bring a bit of class to an event.
A seemingly curvier than usual Kim Kardashian in Oriett Domenech. Girl knows how to work a gown.
