Do you really think Obama’s IRS wants to give back what belongs to a red state?
Dallas Morning News reports that nearly 10,000 Texans have undelivered tax returns to claim from the Internal Revenue Service.
The IRS is looking to return $164.6 million in undelivered refund checks across the United States – including more than $12 million to Texas taxpayers.
The average amount for returned refund checks is $1,471. Checks may have been lost due to a change of address.
Those interested can check for their name at the IRS.gov website with the “Where’s My Refund” tool. Taxpayers can also update their address on the website.
