It's Official! Dolphy and Maricel Soriano Signed a Non-Exclusive Contract with TV5; Cheryl Cosim Still Undecided

Comedy King Dolphy and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano have signed up a non-exclusive contract with TV5. Dolphy will star in a sitcom while Maricel will initially do a special to be followed by a drama series. The two are the newest addition to the fast-growing roster of talents from both ABS-CBN and GMA-7 lured by TV5 with huge talents fees, with juicy fringe benefits on the side.

Zsa Zsa Padilla, Dolphy real life partner, has confirmed that Dolphy will be doing a sitcom in TV5.

Meanwhile, Cheryl Cosim, who is said to be transferring also from ABS-CBN News And Current Affairs Department to TV5 after Luchi Cruz Valdez who now heads the TV5 News Department and DJ Sta. Ana, (husband of Karen Davila), has yet to bite the very tempting offer from the Manny Pangilinan owned TV network.

"Although she has accepted the TV5 offer," said the defender, "Cheryl hasn’t signed the contract yet."

Aside from a public-affairs show, according to reports, effective March Cheryl will anchor TV5’s primetime newscast with Paolo Bediones, another GMA-7 recruit now also holding an executive position at TV5.

Cheryl Gamble (CoCo), Tamara Johnson (Taj), and Leanne Lyons (Le~Le).

OMFG.... New York's finest goes all the way back to 1992 for me.

Hit singles like "Right Here", "I'm So Into You", "Weak", "Downtown", "Right Here/Human Nature remix", "You're The One" was the ~ish.

But, I literally hollered and fell out the dayumm bed, when I watched Mo'nique last night.

LE~LE. . . LE~LE . . . OOOOOHHHHHH, LE~LE.

G'rl out of all the years I've listened to SWV we never knew you sang. I thought you was just like "Left Eye" from TLC or Shanika from down the street that is yo' G'rl and you know how it is? ... Dayuuummm . . . we can't leave our home G'rl Neek-Neek out. She FAM'.

I mean really Taj-e-Taj had her moments, but, Le~Le you know you just smiled in the background, lookin' like the nasty, naughty, ghetto one.

However, I SO LUV U LE~LE.

Now clearly you are a background singer, but, you earned your pay too. I luv it. COCO, we all know your voice is unique and is the bestess! But, Le~Le is my new found favorite. LAWD, I just fell in luv with SWV all over again.

BET HONORS

SideBar ~ Now Ryan-poo aka RL aka Harvard Graduate (Dayumm, I luv an intelligent man), not to mention OOOH SO FINE, BLOW YO MIND RL For Prez. You know dayuum well you a studio singer. Don't do that ~ish NO Mo'! HEAR WHATTASAY, NO DAMN MO!

Jazzy ~ G'rl you know I luv you... I luv a good rasp. But, we need to stay off them Ding-Dongs for two whole weeks okay! I'm just sayin' - It all went to your face.

Mary J. Blige ~ Mrs. Blige took us all the way back ya'll. WHAT!
I'm still rockin' off of "I JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY!" Go'on Mary. That's the I just smoked a phat joint and got my weekly ass whoopin' from K-Ci, Mary. I luv that Mary!

J-Hud ~ I'm still pissed at you. Now you and I know, that if you can sing "Your Gonna Luv Me", from Dreamgirls and hold a note for eternity, as if you were literally just talkin to Auntie Kizzy in her living room with little effort. You dayuumm sure should have blew Whitney Wig a few more inches back off her forehead.

HELL, IT WAS ALREADY 2 Centimeters too far back.

G'rl you can sang. I know you were holding back out of respect, but, I know when you really want to tear into a note, you don't hold back. I thought you was about to hold on to "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU" note, until that bottom lip started quivering giving Whitney flashbacks!

Or is B'Wood just trippin.

I mean it was good, don't get me wrong. And, you looked FAB-U-LOUS. Your g'rls were just sitting high and perky. Ample bosom with peek-a-boo cleavage is so sexy. Pony-tail weave was attached properly and the few added tracks to your bangs were cute. But, you held back for me J~HUD. YOU HELD BACK!

Okay, Okay, Okay, . . . When I get the video of Kim Burrell tribute to Whitney. I will have to go there with Ms. Burrell. LAWD, I LUV ME SOME Mrs. BURRELL...BUT, G'RL!!!!!!

To be cont'. . . .

Whoa, that was a long commercial break.

I'm back . . . Now I just posted Kim Burrell Video.

Now Mrs. Kimberly Burrell-Wiley I think you are beyond beautiful. You are just everything to me. You’re a singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, and Assistant Pastor.

I was introduced to Mrs. Burrell in 1998 at Howard University and I literally lost it. Her Everlasting Life CD with song’s like “I’ll Keep Holding On”, “Holy Ghost”, “Over and Over Again”, “Oh Lord” and my favorite “I Come To You More Than I Give” kept me from having a nervous breakdown.

I tell ya, when you experience Mrs. Burrell live and in person her performance (if you allow yourself to let things go) will minister to your heart.

In my opinion beyond Karen Clark-Sheard, Mrs. Burrell is in a league of her own with doing riffs.

Her solo, raspy, improvisation literally will send chills up and down your spine and have you questioning, whether she is hoarse or is that really her natural God-given voice.

However, yes there is a However!

In the style department . . . Well, let’s just say, I don't think she knows her appropriate size. She and Karen Clark-Sheard be pulling stuff out the closet and your like.

STOP PLAYIN'.

Then I saw her Whitney tribute.

Kim-Kim, you knew you were going to be singin’ for Whitney. G’rl came out in some dress that she purchased at AMES and I was no good.

Now the front angle, wasn’t to shabby, then the camera man Tyrone panned in with the side and back angle and I literally wanted to jump thru the screen and knock him upside his head. Don't be showin' all her speed bumps and stuff!

Then, LAWD!

Why my friends said "THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE WATCHING AN EPISODE OF SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO WHEN WHITNEY CAME RUNNIN UP TO THE STAGE!"

WHOA NELLY, if KeKe Shepard and Sandman came out ... I WOULD HAVE BEEN NO' MO GOOD!

But, WHITNEY SAID Don't Judge. . .

I digress!

However, Whitney you know that dress was ill-fitting.

Chris Matthews is a Good Racist

I know what you’re thinking.

How can anybody be a good racist?

Before I answer that, let me remind folks what happened last week on MSNBC after Obmaa’s SOTUS.

Chris Matthews who famously admitted he felt a tingle going up his leg whenever Obamam speaks, went a step further in his admiration for the first African American president of the United States by also saying he forgot Obama was black for an hour.

The mainstream media being colleagues and cheerleaders for anything Obamam says let Matthews slide for making a very racist comment.

What Matthews and other White Liberals are guilty of is the Racism of Low Expectations.

And Libs have been getting away with this type of racism for years and are never called out for it.

The dirty little secret is that buried deep in the psyche of White Liberals is the belief that Blacks can’t possibly achieve anything without social programs like Affirmative Action and other minority set asides.

Without the help of the White Liberal Blacks are eternally doomed to a life of inferior status unless they, the White Liberal, lift them up.

This is the same type of mentality that routinely manifests itself whenever a White Liberal encounters a Black man, any Black man that speaks without what Harry Reid calls a “Negro dialect”.

Such a Black man is labeled as “articulate” just for the ability of being able to put a sentence together without using phrases like, “ya know wha’ I’m sayin” or labeling any increment of time be it days, months, or years as a “minute” .

In addition, this Racism of Low Expectation is the basis why White Liberals hate and routinely malign Black Conservatives like Justice Clarence Thomas and Condoleezza Rice because they fall outside the template they have set forth.

Blacks such as Thomas and Rice never get the adoration nor adulation from White Liberals for their own great achievements because those types of Blacks are a threat to them and the lies they spread to the Black community. The message to Black folks is “you need us” to survive and be protected from Racists Republicans, and don’t you dare fall outside the program othewwise suffer the risk being called uncle Tom or a sellout.

I’ve been saying these things to my Liberal friends for years. But, the socialization in which Blacks and Latinos are brought up in is very hard to break and Democrats know it.

However, times are a changing because ever so often there comes a Chris Mattews forgetting that Obama was Black, or a Harry Reid extolling the virtue of Obama’s light skin, and Vice President Joe Biden not only calling Obama articulate, but also throwing in that he was “clean”, gives us Conservatives the opportunity and the right to point out the hypocrisy and racism White Liberals get to get away with.

That’s how Chris Matthews gets to be the good racist.

DAMN NELLY......

So there’s a rumor going around the industry that a certain rapper’s new shawty, who happens to be one of his stylists, is telling friends that the rapper is childish and immature.

This stylist, who has a job working for corporate America making good money, also styles other celebrity clients on the side. But the rapper frequently flies her in to style him and serve him.

Lately the stylist has begun telling friends that while the sex is good, she wants the rapper to get serious with her despite the fact that the rapper and his ex singer girlfriend have reportedly begun seeing each other again.

The stylist tells friends that their “casual” relationship grew once she saw him completely naked while styling him at one of his gigs.

“It’s not a Tameka and Usher type of thing,” she is quoted as saying.

The rapper and his stylist are both the same age, but she’s telling friends she wishes he would “mature a little quicker.” According to friends, she told him, “You can’t do what Janet and JD are doing. You need to be a little bit more mature than that.”

Which begs the question: What are Janet and JD doing? I thought they broke up?
