Simon Cowell vows to help booted X FACTOR gal Gamu Nhengu Fight Deport to Zimbabwe

The Sun reports that X FACTOR reject Gamu Nhengu won a new ally in her deportation battle last night - the show's multi-millionaire boss Simon Cowell.

It came as The Sun discovered the squalid life she faces if she has to return to Zimbabwe.

Cowell has ordered his lawyers to take on Home Office bureaucrats who plan to deport the 18-year-old singer from the UK.

He told The Sun: "We are helping Gamu and her family as much as possible and have lawyers working with her lawyers.

"It's not because we have to but because I really feel for their situation, and that's outside of the show."

Susan Boyle turns from a local church choir member to a global superstar and now she gets a special invite to the Oprah Winfrey show.

Ms. Boyle’s unbelievable performance of I Dreamed a Dream, from Les Misérables on Britain’s Got Talent already reached more than 12 million views. Her surprising performance melted the hearts of many, including the very harsh judge Simon Cowell, describing her performance as "extraordinary." "I can hardly remember what happened on the night as I had my eyes closed most of the time. It really didn’t dawn on me what was happening," Ms. Boyle told AP.

Ms. Boyle, 47, goes on to say that she’s never been kissed, never been married and lives with her cat. Her answers were initially met with sneers, but once she started singing, the crowd broke into tremendous applause.

Simon Cowell to Leave American Idol

Judge Simon Cowell is set to leave American Idol in order to cut down on his busy work schedule. Cowell who is also a judge for Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor told the Daily Mirror:

"Most people do one show a year and I do three and they involve a lot of traveling. One may have to go. I don’t know which one. That is the problem, I like all of them. I can’t imagine not doing Britain’s Got Talent and I can’t imagine not doing X Factor.

But I guess America is more likely to go because I have got one year under contract. Maybe that will be the end."
