Topshop Autumn/Winter 2011

After reading that Beyonce spent £5,000 in 50 minutes in Topshop today (easily done, we know) we took a look at their Lookbook for this coming season. Love it!

Featuring Nyasha Matanhodze and Hailey Clauson, in true Topshop style, it’s designer looks at high street prices. Once all the leftover sale rubbish is gone, check out your local branch. Or like us, do it all online. Cos those queues in Oxford Street are just too much!

Model of the Moment: Nyasha Matonhodze

Originally from Zimbabwe but raised in London, we featured the stunningly beautiful 16 year old Nyasha earlier this year in our post on Topshop at LFW, but her star has risen way beyond Toppers now!

Already this year she has been in Teen Vogue (more than once) and Harpers Bazaar and walked for Louise Gray, Clements Ribeiro and Jonathan Saunders during London Fashion Week S/S 11 (not bad considering it was her debut season!) and for Loewe, Emanuel Ungaro, Louis Vuitton and Jean-Charles De Castelbajac in Paris. She also features in the F/W 2011 Louis Vuitton campaign.

Her favourite beauty product is good old fashioned Palmer's Cocoa Butter and she loves gospel and soul music. Everything we hear about her is very positive and she seems wise beyond her years. Read a lovely interview with her here.

Topshop Unique at London Fashion Week

There are some gorgeous clothes being shown at London Fashion Week but alas, most are out of our price range. Not so with high street favourite Topshop!

Topshop Unique are the only high street brand to appear on schedule at London Fashion Week. These are pieces we can pop online or to Oxford Street and actually buy without needing a second mortgage or having to sell an organ!

Their show was held yesterday and famous attendees included Alexa Chung, Nicola Roberts and even Her Royal Fashion Highness, Anna Wintour. A ringing endorsement (not that they need one) having Anna in attendance.

In true Topshop style, it was all a bit weird and wonderful and seemed to be inspired by Cruella de Vil and 101 Dalmations with a dash of 1930s glamour thrown in.
