Jameela Jamil: The New Face of Nails Inc

Jameela Jamil has recently become the new face of nails inc and will feature in their 2011 campaigns for the rest of the year. Wearing multi coloured summer brights on her nails, she said of the brand: “Sometimes a product is just too awesome to choose – so don’t!" This look was also seen on Caggie in the series finale of Made in Chelsea.

She wears Charing Cross in the Autumn/Winter campaign (available in shops from August) and remarked: “This colour defines the word classic. Red is such a huge trend for Autumn/Winter.”

We’ve used nails inc numerous times and have to say they are one of the better brands out there. They aren’t cheap at around the £11 mark, but they apply nicely and last a long time so we consider it more of an investment. You should probably chuck your varnishes away after a while but we never do (until they dry out beyond use) and have some nails inc bottles that are more than a year old and still faring quite well!

Hot off the presses, we have Jameela Jamil at yesterday’s T4 on The Beach wearing a Jones and Jones dress.

The floral print dress has a retro kinda vibe with a net-trimmed petticoat that adds volume to the full skirt. Wear with boots like Jameela to toughen it up or with pretty heels for a 50s style look.

Quickly becoming something of a style maven, we’re going to keep a close eye on young Jameela. She seems to set her own fashion path and we’re keen on anyone who can make us laugh. Have you seen her on T4?!

Reader Madison wanted to know where she could get the bracelet Jameela was seen wearing during London Fashion Week.

We’ve discovered it was an old school style bracelet from Punky Allsorts, handmade with pastel beads and cute ice cream charms. And it only costs £12.50!

While we’re here, we spotted her in a pair of very on-trend colour block statement heels – ‘Annie’ from Kurt Geiger (£140). She says she ‘loves’ Kurt Geiger as their shoes are gorgeous but still comfortable. We all like a bit of that!

2011 Elle Style Awards

The 2011 ELLE Style Awards were held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London last night. Winners included Cheryl Cole - Musician of the Year (really?!), Tom Ford - Top International Designer and Helena Christensen - Outstanding Contribution to Fashion.

There were a few random guests present (Donna Air – what does she do now?) but all in all it seemed a very stylish affair.
