BAFTA Brits to Watch 2011

BAFTA Brits to Watch is a new initiative set up between BAFTA and their Academy branch in Los Angeles which brings together the best of British emerging talent, on and off-screen, with many of the worlds most talented and influential people in film, television and video games.

This year they chose 42 people who they will help to strengthen their careers by building lasting and durable partnerships with industry professionals in America.

Damian Daniel - Cinematographer


























Cinematography credits include the short film From Basho and This Is Your History.

Daniel Kaluuya - Actor/Writer

























Starred in and wrote two episodes for Channel 4 show Skins and has appeared in Psychoville. We'll see him soon in film Johnny English Reborn.

A RADA-trained actress who has been in Spooks, Doctor Who, Undercovers and recent Tom Hanks/Julia Roberts’ film Larry Crowne.

Folashadé Olagundoye - Production Designer












A National Film & Television graduate who assisted Pixar’s Art Department on the upcoming John Carter Of Mars.

Each person was chosen based on extraordinary potential displayed in their craft and as a representation of the breadth and depth of creativity emerging from today's British talent. We wish them long and distinguished careers.
