Nate Dogg Dies At Age 41

Long Beach rapper Nate Dogg, real name Nathaniel Hale, known for his low-toned hooks on numerous popular hits, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, his family announced.
The cause of death for the 41-year-old artist has not yet been specified, however, he suffered two strokes in the past, in 2007 and 2008. After the 2007 stroke, the left side of his body was temporarily paralyzed, and he never fully recovered.

Though he started off singing in the choir of his church in Long Beach, Nate Dogg first stepped on the scene on Dr. Dre’s The Chronic and has worked with Snoop Dogg, Warren G, Kurupt, Tupac, Ludacris, Eminem, and Mos Def just to name a slight few. He also lent his vocals to the ‘Eff Grandad’ song on the hit animated series, The Boondocks.

Rest In Peace
