American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino just dodged a huge financial bullet. According to TMZ
There’s been a major win for singer Fantasia, with a North Carolina court finding the married man who impregnated her was actually separated from his wife at the time of their love affair.
The court has found that Paula and Antwaun Cook, were LEGALLY separated in September of 2009, not June of 2010 (as his wife has been proclaiming) ultimately forcing the judge to rule in Antwaun’s favor.
However, if this man was still sleeping with his wife, living home with their children and “still acting married” as Paula claims, I still have an issue with him creeping with Fantasia on the side.
Nonetheless, as far as the LAW is concerned, Antwaun is in the clear, which perfectly positions Fantasia, in case Paula still tries to sue her under the North Carolina Alienation of Affections.
Look for Antwuan's wife to start writing her tell-all book in 5, 4, 3, 2...
