Kim Chiu cried a tears [of joy] when the lead role of “Jasmin” for the Philippine version of the hit Koreanovela “My Girl” which starred Lee Dong Wook was awarded to her by ABS-CBN.The good news was announced during the press conference of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 2. Kim Chiu, the big winner of the first edition, was surprised that she will have another primetime tv series on ABS-CBN. Her first was Sana Maulit Muli opposite Gerald Anderson which was a hit in the tv ratings in the first quarter of 2007. Sana Maulit Muli is now being shown in Taiwan.
But who will play the role of Korean heartthrob Lee Dong Wook? Of course, the name Gerald Anderson will first come to our minds. But ABS-CBN has not confirmed about this one. Are they considering a new love team for Kim? Enchong Dee, Aldred Gatchalian or Dino Imperial perhaps? We will see.
Kim Chiu is currently preparing for her debut party next month with Gerald Anderson as her escort, of course.
